My first yoga class was a revelation for me when my dear teacher said, this is an hour for you… at the time my life was very hectic and the thought of an hour for me was alien! So congratulate yourself you’re as far as looking at the schedule for yoga classes and a step closer to taking time for yourself!

I would love to share the knowledge that I have learned from many teachers here in Ireland & in India.

One to one classes can also be arranged to suit an individuals needs.

My classes are inspired from a variety of different yoga influences: My first teacher was a traditional Sivananda Style trained and I followed in his footsteps to complete the same Yoga Teacher Training where my basis for teaching comes from most recently I have practiced Ashtanga Yoga and love to bring the Vinyasa( flow) into  a class.

Ashtanga yoga is a system of yoga transmitted to the modern world by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois (1915-2009). This method of yoga involves synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of postures—a process producing intense internal heat and a profuse, purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. The result is improved circulation, a light and strong body, and a calm mind.An opportunity to take time for yourself, to learn the basics of this ancient tradition of yoga, a gentle introduction to this dynamic yoga sequence. A practise which will benefit your mind, body & spirit.

Yin Yoga Restorative Yoga
Is your life very busy? Does your mind run crazy? Do you need some time out? A restorative yoga class which includes stretching, meditation & relaxation. Opening the body, stretching the limbs, quietening the mind

Yin Yoga similar to other types of yoga as it provides benefits physically, emotionally, and mentally. Yin works the deeper levels of the body/heart/mind: the connective tissues of the ligaments, fascia, joints and bones and the energetic channels of the meridians, nerves and blood system. One big difference of Yin Yoga is the long held, passive nature of the posture, which gives time for a deeper journey to unfold, a journey into the meditative aspects of yoga, a bridge to living life mindfully.
